“I am the catalyst.”
With confidence and pride, Darius Carter became the 4th Artist announced for Project: Diverge on April 21, 2018 as a part of the Operation New Wave at the Old Bridge Elks in Old Bridge Elks in Old Bridge, NJ, alongside announced named “Tough” Tim Hughes, “the Magnificent” Giovanni Marranca, and and 2Hot Steve Scott. Representing the style of Hybrid, Mr. Carter broke in through the Bodyslam Wrestling Organization under Richie Rotten and Nunzio. However, it has been the independent circuit in the Northeast where Carter has really picked up his craft. Utilizing his scientific skills, mixed with a striking base, and his ever-evolving infusion of World of Sport style, which definitely got him over to the United Kingdom for a ten-day tour in 2017, Carter is the perfect blend for the Hyrbid style. “‘Wrestling’s Richest Prize’ is being the best at every facet. And that’s what Darius Carter is.” However, throughout this process of Carter joining Diverge, you can sense he has something to prove, but also has a hint of worry about if he doesn’t succeed. Knowing “Wrestling’s Richest Prize”, his pure knowledge of the game will get him through quite well. Darius Carter is the fourth participant in Project: Diverge’s first Operation. Who will be the next person included? Stay tuned on March 9, 2018 to ProjectDiverge.com for the fifth artist announced for Operation New Wave 4.21.18 in Old Bridge. Follow Darius Carter on Twitter @MrDariusCarter and on Facebook at Darius Carter. “I intend to prove that I’m not just a gimmick guy, but that my speed got me to where I wanted to be.”
With excitement and flash, 2Hot Steve Scott became the 3rd Artist announced for Project: Diverge on April 21, 2018 as a part of the Operation New Wave at the Old Bridge Elks in Old Bridge Elks in Old Bridge, NJ, alongside announced named “Tough” Tim Hughes and “the Magnificent” Giovanni Marranca. Representing the style of Speed, Scott, similar to Marranca, broke in under the tutelage of former ROH World Champion Jay Lethal at the ACE Wrestling Academy in Union City, NJ in 2006. Over time. 2Hot became a very popular commodity in the New Jersey independents, developing a persona based around selfies. Character aside, Scott is one of the most underrated performers in the game and so quick and fluid with every movement in between the ropes. Steve Scott is quite the entertainer, but Operation New Wave has a unique meaning for him come April 21. “I’ve had fun for 12 years. Now it’s time to step it up a notch.” 2Hot Steve Scott is the third participant in Project: Diverge’s first Operation. Who will be the next person included? Stay tuned on February 16, 2018 to ProjectDiverge.com for the fourth artist announced for Operation New Wave 4.21.18 in Old Bridge. Follow Steve Scott on Twitter @2hotstevescott and on Facebook under 2Hot Steve Scott “On April 21, 2018, I intend to prove that I’m as #$%$# Magnificent as I say I am.”
With bluntness and honesty, “the Magnificent” Giovanni Marranca officially joined “Tough” Tim Hughes as the next artist to join Project: Diverge for Operation New Wave, April 21, 2018, at the Old Bridge Elks in Old Bridge, NJ. Representing the style of Striking, Marranca broke in under the tutelage of former ROH World Champion Jay Lethal at the ACE Wrestling Academy in Union City, NJ in 2006. Over the next several years, Marranca scratched and clawed through the New Jersey independents; however, felt slighted and overlooked by the majority of locker rooms. Disenfranchised, “Magnificent” Marranca walked away in 2015. However, with Operation New Wave coming 4.21.18, Marranca has decided to come back into the sport from his self-imposed sabbatical. His objective is simple and his goal is clear. “My career is over if I don’t win this. This is all or nothing for me. Operation New Wave is my last stand.” “Magnificent” Giovanni Marranca is the second participant in Project: Diverge’s first Operation. Who will be the next person included? Stay tuned on February 9, 2018 to ProjectDiverge.com for the third artist announced for Operation New Wave 4.21.18 in Old Bridge. Follow Giovanni Marranca on Instagram at ElMagnifico88.
The first Artist has been announced for Operation New Wave
When will be #2? Sooner rather than later. Enjoy the path. #DIVERGE
With the first Artist announced being Tough Tim Hughes, the road to Operation New Wave gets a little clearer.
However, more participants are on the horizon. Is this man next? Or is it just a waiting game? In due time, we find out. Until then, #JustWait. “On April 21, 2018, I intend to prove that Old School’s Cool!”
With that one statement, “Tough” Tim Hughes officially became the first artist to join Project: Diverge for Operation New Wave, April 21, 2018, at the Old Bridge Elks in Old Bridge, NJ. Representing the style of Old School, Hughes has really grown into a beacon of tradition over his 8 years in the industry. Refining his tools at the Monster Factory in Paulsboro, NJ under the tutelage of Danny Cage, as well as the ROH Dojo under the watchful eye of Delirious, Hughes broke out of his shell in 2015 as a pupil to independent wrestling legend “Brutal” Bob Evans. Together, as Tough Guy Inc, Evans and Hughes have traveled the nation, gaining steam as a tremendous duo, utilizing methodical and throwback techniques to become a beloved, or hated, tandem. However, with Operation New Wave coming 4.21.18, “Tough” Tim has decided to step out on his own, utilizing what he has learned to take part in this Operation. “‘Brutal’ Bob has taught me, ‘You have to do whatever it takes.’ I’m not above anything, I’m not below anything; I’m just ME.” “Tough” Tim Hughes is the first participant in Project: Diverge’s first Operation. Who will be the next person included? Stay tuned on February 2, 2018 to ProjectDiverge.com for the second artist announced for Operation New Wave 4.21.18 in Old Bridge. Follow “Tough” Tim on Twitter AT @ToughTimmy or on Instagram at @ToughTimmyH.
